Dorito - Doritas - Inflatable Bunkers
The Dorito is one of the most famous inflatable bunkers, it has a shape that offers players a number of advantages and challenges to shoot from behind and play behind. The dorito actually has the shape of a frito lay dorito, it is big and triangular. The dorito is a standup bunker, and has a shape very similar to a pyramid, with three sides that meet at a point, in a flat base. The dorito inflatables made by Sup'Airball actually come in three different sizes, with the largest model being about a foot taller than an average man. Because of the pyramidal design of the dorito, players must be very careful to watch their marker and body as they peek out of the sides to take a look around. If players are not careful, they will be likely to get tagged as they lean out the wrong way. Other styles of inflatable markers include the beam, wings, carwash, wedge, and horse shoe. Each bunker design has its own way that it must be approached and fired from behind if it's host players seeking cover is to survive in the game. Also, even within the same type of bunker, the different size models can also dictate how the player approaches and shoots from this line of defense.

At American tournaments in the American Paintball League the MAXS Masters, and the Connecticut Paintball League players call the pyramid shaped triangle bunker the dorito. In other countries, these types of bunkers go by different names. The French call this bunker the Berlingot. The English call this big triangle the Tea Bag. This is one of the oldest bunkers and is still one of the most common inflatables seen at big tournaments today. The unique shape of this bunker, with the sides coming in towards the top make the game very interesting and three dimensional. If you are behind the dorito and your opponent was directly across from you, then you would be safe. But if your opponent was behind in front of you and at an angle to the side, your opponent may be able to hit you even if you are crouched right behind it.
The dorito is manufactured by some manufacturers to come in a couple of different sizes. The three size bunkers are called the large dorito, medium dorito, and baby dorito. The baby dorito stands about 5 feet high at its peak; the medium dorito stands about 7 feet high at its peak. The large dorito stands about 8 feet high at its peak. The dorito bunker can be bought from Sup' Airball. Bunkers like the dorito, cylinder, and half moon have been used at tournaments like BunkerFeast, the FPS League Super, and the North European Series. The North European Series will be having 2007 tournaments in Stockholm, Helsingborg, Skara, Varberg, and Flen. Players behind the dorito can get hit in the side if they are not careful, but if they learn how to move directly behind it, they can be very difficult to eliminate. Players from behind the dorito can rotate around the sides if they see opponents trying to find him from the left or right side.
