Burger | Inflatable Bunker
The Burger bunker is shaped like a hamburger on its side. The burger is about 10 feet across, and about 5 feet high, offering players a lot of protection within a very large bunker. The burger, as a circular bunker, gives players who are getting bunkered a lot of protection. When a player is bunkering at another in the Burger bunker, a player can rotate around it to step out of the opposition's line of site. Other circular bunkers include the cone, and the Cylinder. The Burger is an interesting bunker, as two players could approach each other from the opposite side of it without knowing that the other one is there. Other circular bunkers that players may see in games may include the Can or the Rollie. There are several companies who sell bunkers like the Burger, including Ameri-Brand Products and Sup' Airball. Sup' Airball sells inflatable bunkers in a variety of shapes, including the Bumper, Cross, and Horse Shoe.

There are more and more speedball fields today that use inflatable bunkers. At Bulldog Front Paintball, the paintball fields are designed for a variety of game formats, including scenario games, woodsball and airball. At their airball field the Barnyard, a large 90 x 180 ft. is enclosed by a barrier netting that goes all along the field. The air ball is set up for daily games and tournaments. The airball tournament field is designed for 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 competitions. Past tournaments at Bulldog Front Paintball have included the rookie 3 man, a 3 on 3 event with bunkers such as the Cylinder and Dorito. BFP has several tournament events that go on late into the year, including one in December. In August 2007, BFP will be hosting an all mech tournament.
There are several fields in the US that feature airball games, including Paranoid Paintball Field in Lemoore California and Jungle Island Paintball Park in Lake Elsinore California. Jungle Island Paintball Park hosts games day and night, with a couple of well-lit fields that bring players night paintball games. Due to popular demand, Jungle-Island has just opened a new Air Ball field that is sectioned off with barrier netting. Some of the bunkers in their airball field include the Cube Bunker, the Beam as a lay-down bunker and the Temple. Jungles' airball field is flat with sand and gravel for a playing field.
Jungle-Island has several other fields to choose from the fit your style of play. Jungles' newest field is their Air Ball Park, which gives young players a chance to experience the type of speedball fields that the professionals experience. Check with the operators to the Jungle Island paintball to see if they offer the Burger bunker as one of their inflatable's. Other fields offered at Jungle Island include the Outback and the Bush Field. The Bus Field has a W. shaped sandbag bunkers and downed aircraft.
