Airball Bunkers
The Dorito inflatable bunker is one of the most widely used and available airball bunkers for paintball. The Dorito bunker closely resembles the shape of a Pyramid as it is a three sided bunker that meets in a point at the top. Like the Cylinder bunker, players have the ability to rotate around this inflatable if they are approached by the opposition from various side. Other names of the Dorito include the French Berlignot, Tea Bag, and the British. The Dorito has been around since the beginning of speedball. Because of its shape, it is a very stable bunker and will not blow over easily from the wind. The Dorito is often used as a central-tape obstacle. Players who are experienced and know how to play this obstacle are very difficult to eliminate as they can rotate around it to avoid getting eliminated. The Dorito is a key strategic obstacle that players try to go for early because it is very difficult to eliminate experienced players behind this obstacle. Usually, the only way to take out a seasoned player behind the Dorito is by bunkering. The Dorito has been used at tournament fields hosted by paintball leagues such as the NPPL Super 7, Centurio Circuit, and the CFOA.

The Dorito is one of the most used bunkers on paintball fields all over the United States. Some other paintball fields in the United States include Pointblank in Baker City Oregon, Action Acres in Canby Oregon, and Bay Area Paintball in Burlingame.com. Check with the field operators and staff to see if airball is offered in paintball fields such as these. The Dorito is offered in three different sizes from companies such as Sup' Airball: Large Dorito, Medium Dorito, and Baby Dorito. The Large Dorito is 8 feet tall, the Medium Dorito is 7 feet tall, and the Baby Dorito is 5 feet tall. Other inflatable bunkers offered by Sup' Airball include the Wings, X, Cone, Tombstone, and Horse Shoe. The Dorito and the Tombstone are at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to player protection. The Medium Dorito and Large Dorito safely cover a whole player's body when he is behind it and even allow a player the ability to rotate around the bunker to avoid getting eliminated. But the Horse Shoe is both shorter than the player and has a gap in the middle, exposing the player to enemy fire if he does not play it perfectly.
Other airball bunkers include Headstone, and the Blockshaped Paintball Bunker. The Blockshaped Bunker and the Headstone both have similar shapes to bunkers of different names made by other companies. The R2 Block Shaped Bunker is similar to the Brick, and the Headstone Bunker is similar to the Tombstone. The R2 Headstone is constructed with a scratch and tear resistant PVC that is resistant to breakage or UV decay. The R2 is waterproof and never has air leaks. Bunkers such as the Dorito have been used in tournaments such as the NCPA Nationals.
