William Shatner, The Life and Legend. William Shatner is truly an icon of American entertainment, as the lead character of one of the biggest TV and Movie Series of all time. The influence of the man cuts across many entertainment mediums, including print novels, television, movies, music, and sports. Shatner's most notable characters have been as James T Kirk in Star Trek, T.J. Hooker in the TV Series T.J. Hooker, and recently Denny Crane in the current series Boston Legal. William Shatner's career in entertainment has spanned over 5 decades, with popular performances and published works of fiction and nonfiction. He has turned in memorable performances on the stage, dramatic performances in several television series, and even a number of blockbuster movies.
Though Shatner has a resume spanning 50 year of memorable performances, he is best know as the captain of the Star Trek Enterprise. He was the star of the StarTrek TV series from 1966 to 1969, and reprised the role in Star Trek: The Motion picture. The Star Trek franchise continued with several more films with Shatner as the Star, as well as several other spin-off series that would also make their way onto the small screen and big screen. Shatner made his last appearance in the franchise in the movie Star Trek Generations.
William Shatner, Paintball Promoter. William Shatner is well know in the paintball industry as a regular player and enthusiast of the game. He has hosted and promoted a number of major events. Shatner has been a celebrity participant in the major event Project Sahara, hosted by Celebrity Paintball Project Sahara is a MilSim styled scenario event with vehicles including military styled jeeps, hummers, and tanks. Other celebrities present at Project Sahara include Tom Kaye, the owner of Perfect circle Paintballs and Airgun Designs. Thomas G. Kaye is an individual who has a professional knowledge in many diverse areas, including paintball tactics, compressed air systems, and publications related to Paleontology and Astrophysics.
Tom Kaye has also collaborated with William Shatner on a number of other paintball events in the name of fun as well as towards charitable causes. Other celebrity paintball events involving Shatner have included Mobster Mash, William Shatner Splat Attack, as well as William Shatner's Splat Attack Two. Splat Attack Two was a scenario game event featuring two groups, one evil, and one good pursuing each other. The back story to this event features an evil Tom Kaye and a group of Willimas who have time traveled into the past to escape the virtuous group led by Shatner. The paintball team led by Shatner travel to 1880 to confront the evil team led by Tom Kaye and his deadly assassins.
