Stocks are a part of a player's air systems and accessories. Other parts of a players air systems include tank covers, remotes, regulators, gauges, gas thru grips, expansion chambers, drop forwards and cradles. Stocks connect onto the back of a player's marker and are usually located right above the air tank. Stocks have the role of helping a player balance his gun better, and they also serve an aesthetic purpose, making the paintball gun look more like a military rifle.
