Remote Line | Remotes
A remote line is a piece of equipment that is used with a paintball marker. A remote line is used with a high pressure air tank or CO2 tank. Some air tanks connect directly to the back of a marker while other tanks can be secured to the side of a player, and feed air to the marker through a remote line. There are benefits to having a remote line or a direct mount onto the paint gun, depending on the needs of the player. The most obvious benefit of having a remote line would be its effect on the weight of the marker. Many paintball games last between 20-45 minutes, but other matches like scenario games can last up to 24 hours. In matches like these, it can be an obvious benefit to the player to have the added weight taken off.
A remote line is coiled to allow flexibility of length between the paintball gun and the air tank mounted around the waist of the player. The line runs from the tank to the marker and allows the player more flexibility and freedom of movement for things like running and shooting and bunkering. Sometimes the remote line can get tangled in foliage and other elements from the wood, but it can be easily untangled. If a player gets hit in their hopper, mounted tank or remote line, then it would be considered an elimination shot. To keep all of a players gear close to their body, players will sometimes thread the remote line down their sleeve and down their shirt into the tank. Because tournament matches like the PSP World Cup feature matches that are quick games, the remote line is not a piece of equipment that is often used in pro tournaments.

One popular remote line would be the Coiled Remote with Slide Check by 32 Degrees. The Coiled Remote with slide check has brought relief to many players who appreciate the ability of this product to make the weight from their marker that much lighter. The flexible coiled line is rated up to 3000 psi so it can perform well with Nitrogen compressed air and CO2 tanks. The slide check gives the remote line easy on/off ability, and quick disconnect capability. Some highlights of this remote line are that it quickly disconnects, it has a universal on/off fill adapter, and it takes your cylinder off your paintball gun. Many players appreciate the Coiled Remote with Slide Check because it gives them more options for aiming their marker, and holding it when they are kneeling, diving, and sliding with the remote line, players are able to hold the marker closer to their face and body, giving them a better aim for shooting accuracy.
Another manufacturer of remote lines is the manufacturer ACI. The High Pressure Coiled Remote from ACI has a universal fill adapter, a 3000 psi operating pressure, and quick disconnect capabilities between the paint gun to the hose adapter. This remote line is long enough for any setup, and easy to untangle if it gets caught in twigs or branches. Players rave about the freedom and range of movement this technology gives them to shoot while running and shoot while laying down. The ACI Coiled Remote stays connected to your marker and it will provide you with years of loyal service.
