Welcome to paintballimpact.com, one source of information about all products and events related to the paintball industry.
Most paintball websites either try to sell paintball products or provide reviews of paintball gear and fields around the United States.
Here, we intend to do both. At our website, we intend to be a fully comprehensive presence for paintball players seeking information on where to play the
game they love and when the next big upcoming events will happen. Today, there are over 100 tournament leagues throughout the United States, and there
are so many great events on the calendar that nearly every player at nearly any level will have a tournament or scenario game in their local area.
|
 |
 |
One key aspect of our website is information about the paintball products that are available to players either through online ordering or through purchase
at Sporting Goods Stores and paintball proshops. With nearly 500 paintball manufacturers and over 5000 products on the market, players have a large inventory to choose from
and the newbies hardly know where to begin. We hope that the information provided at our website will be one useful research tool for players at all age and experience levels.
On this site, we will provide a comprehensive list of paintball products that are currently on the market as well as some popular guns and equipment that is no longer in production
but can still be seen in the hands of some old school players. The main categories of paintball products include Markers, Masks, Goggles, Barrels, Clothing, Packs/Harnesses, Hoppers,
Loaders, Paintballs, Air Systems, Air System Accessories, and Field Gear.
|
|
From these categories, you can get most of what you need to suit up and play in paintball games. The signature piece of equipment that all players have when they step out onto the field is the paintball gun. The paintball gun is what players use to fire paintballs at human opponents
and other targets. Most paintball guns today run on air power and fire .68 caliber paintball projectiles. These paintball
projectiles have a thin gelatin shell and a paint fill that that will leave a clear mark on human opponents or other objects. There are many different categories of paintball guns, but the majority of them run on CO2 or HPA air power and fire using semi-automatic technology.
|
 |
Players that use Semi-Automatic paintball guns will be able to fire one paintball each time they pull the trigger. Paintball guns will usually be listed on of 6 different categories: High-End Electronic Markers, High-End Mechanical Markers, Low-End Electronic Markers, Low-End Mechanical Markers, Pistols, and Pump Stock-Class Markers. Pump or Stock-Class Markers must be manually pumped to ready the paintball for fire. Though pump markers represent a less advanced technology and reduced firing capabilities, they are still popular with players who enjoy participating in games that favor tactics and strategy over the rapid firing that you will see on most speedball fields. ANS, Arrow Precision, Brass Eagle, and Action Markers are 5 companies that still manufacture stock class markers for the paintball industry.
While these pump style guns are still popular, most of today's players prefer to use semi-automatic paintball guns. The two main divisions among semi-auto guns are the electronic markers
and the mechanical markers. Both the mechanical and electronic markers use semi-automatic technology, but the electronic markers use many more electronic components. Electronic markers use
components such as electronic triggers, LCD screens, LED screens, anti-chop eyes, game timers, circuit boards, and RAM. Also, electronic paintball guns are usually capable of firing more shots per second. Electronic guns usually fire faster, but they are often more expensive than mechanical guns and they take more skill to maintain. Also, electronic paintball guns may sometimes be less durable than mechanical weapons and they may be more vulnerable to weather extremes. Mechanical guns, while slower than the speedy electronics, are easier to maintain, and they can often hold up very well in temperature extremes and harsh weather. Some producers of semi-automatic paintball guns include Alien, Bob Long, Diablo, Dye, Evil, Brass Eagle, 32 Degrees, and Kingman Spyder. If you want to find some cheap paintball gear, you have come to the right paintball store.
